Diana Rice

In 2023, Diana was honored to become a two-time Sundance Production Designer after the feature film, A Little Prayer, written and directed by Angus MacLachlan (writer JUNEBUG, director GOODBYE TO ALL THAT), made its World Premiere. It was produced by Gladness Partners and Stories We Can Tell, starring David Strathairn, Jane Levy, Celia Weston, and Anna Camp. 

Diana made her Sundance Production Design debut in 2017 for the acclaimed feature film Columbus, written and directed by ::kogonada, produced by Andrew Miano, Aaron Boyd, Danielle Renfrew Behrens, Chris Weitz, Giulia Caruso, and Ki Jin Kim, and starred John Cho, Haley Lu Richardson, Parker Posey and Michelle Forbes. 

She has recently production designed commercials for Hisense x World Cup 2022, Chevy, Pfizer, Creon, Amazon Freight, Farm Bureau, MadeGood, Fritos, Body Armor x Carrie Underwood, Pittsburg Paints, Parm Crisps, Litter Robot, Daily Harvest and many more. In 2023, she was the Set Decorator for "Christmas at Graceland" on NBC, Bud Light Commercial featuring George Kittle and the feature film RIDE.

 

In 2020 she production designed the feature film, So Cold The River, (directed by Paul Shoulberg, produced by1804 Productions and Pigasus Pictures), filmed at the historic West Baden Springs Hotel in Indiana. The same year, The Violent Heart, (written and directed by Kerem Sanga, produced by 21 Laps, Material Pictures, 3311, Endeavor Content, Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen, Ed McDonnell and Tobey Maguire), premiered at the Tribecca Film Festival. It starred Mary J. Blige, Jovan Adepo, Grace Van Patten and Lukas Haas.

In 2018 Diana production designed a feature film in upstate New York, The Shed, written and directed by Frank Sabatella and produced by Peter Block (EP of the SAW franchise), Mike Mendez, and Cory Neal. 

She also production designed the film Roll With It, (directed by Chris Dowling, produced by Third Coast Content, Ken Carpenter and Clarke Gallivan), starring Chonda Pierce is slated to release in 2023. 

Diana has been in production for over fourteen years working in Egypt, South Korea, London, Mexico, Canada, and many U.S. states. She enjoys living in Nashville, TN with her husband Adriaan Harsta, who often works with her as the Art Director and Construction Coordinator for all their set and unique project-based builds.
